The simplicity of the rules means it’s easy and fun and anyone can easily learn this sport although to compete at the highest level Ultimate players require an unmatched degree of agility, speed and stamina.

Fun fact- There is a section on "Flying Disc Throwing" in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Fun fact- The inventor of the Frisbee, Walter Frederick Morrison had the Frisbee idea as a teenager throwing lard popcorn tin lids with his girlfriend

A line drawn across the  large rectangular pitch at either end creates two “end zones”. These are the goal-scoring areas. A goal is scored when a team completes a pass to a player standing in the end zone they are attacking. Players are not allowed to run with the disc. If a player gets the disc, he/she must come to a stop and throw it to another player. Through passing from player to player, the offence will try to work the disc up the pitch towards the end zone they are attacking. If the disc hits the ground or is intercepted by the other team, then the opposition takes possession. Each time the offense completes a pass in the defense’s end zone, the offense scores a point.
